Indian Coast Guard has released a employment job notification for the recruitment of 71 Assistant Commandant (group 'A' Gazetted Officer) vacancy posts. Interestsed and eligible candidates apply at online mode. 

Indian Coast Guard vacancy Details: 

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty (GD)

Total posts: 40 

Gender: Only for Male

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 June 2002 (Both dates inclusive). 

Educational Qualification: 

i) Should hold a degree of recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

ii) Mathematics and physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation agter diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possesss an aggregate of 55% marks in Diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. 

2. Assistant Commandant Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA)

Total posts: 10 

Gender: For both of Male & female 

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 June 2004 (both date inclusive) 

Educational Qualification: 

i0 Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subject with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and physics. The candidate who have complete diploma are also eligible, provided they should posses an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

ii) Should possess current Commercial Pilot License issued/ validated by Director general civil Aviation on the date of submission of application. 

3. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical) 

Total posts: 6 

Gender: For only Male

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 Jun 2002 (Both date inclusive) 

Educational Qualification: 

i) Should hold an engineering degree of recognized university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks. 

OR

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section 'A' and 'B' and their associate membership examination (AMIE).

ii) Mathematics and physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and physics. The candidates who have completed graduate after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possesss an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum .

4. Assistant Commandant Technical (Electrical/ Electronics) 

Total posts: 14 

Gender: For Male

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both date inclusive) 

Educational Qualification: 

i) Should hold an engineering degree recognized university in electrical or electronics or telecommunication or instrumentation and control electronics and communication or power engineering or power electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks. or equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the institute of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section 'A' and 'B' and their associate membership examination (AMIE).

ii) Mathematics and physic as subject upto or intermediate or Class XII or 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks mathematics and physics. The candidates who have complete graduate after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. 

5. Assistant Commandant Technical (Law Entry)

Total post: 1 

Gender: For both Male & Female 

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1994 to 30 Jun 2002 (Both date inclusive) 

Educational Qualification: A degree in law from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
