In pursuance of the Director of Higher Education, Assam permission letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/49/2021 /Pt./5 dtd. 09.02.2022, applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed format of the DHE, Assam along with complete bio-data and all testimonials from H.S.L,C onwards for the filling up of following vacant sanctioned post of Assistant Professors.

2. History 01 (UR) (Roster point 07) 

Education qualification and selection procedure will be as per Govt. OM No. AHE.239/ 2021/68, dated 24.01.2022 with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligible condition. Candidates having Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D Degree) regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/SET. The candidate must have minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade point scale) at Master Degree level in the concerned subject. The candidate has to acquire qualification as on the last date for submitting applications. Other Qualifications like M.Phil/ Ph.D/Seminar papers/ publications can be acquired and submitted by the date of interview and not beyond. The candidate must have PRC and proficiency in local language. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority. 

# The age of the candidate must not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2023. Application with all relevant documents along with nonrefundable Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- only drawn in favour of Principal, Sapatgram College, Sapatgram payable at State Bank of India, Sapatgram Branch (IFSC code SBIN0013090) must reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Incomplete/ defective applications will be rejected at the time of scrutiny and no Call letter will be issued to such candidates.
